Neurodivergence Support

You may have spent much of your life feeling different without quite understanding why. Perhaps you’ve always felt overwhelmed, struggled to fit in, found social situations exhausting, or wondered why everyday tasks seem harder for you than they do for others. You may be questioning whether you could be autistic, have ADHD, or identify with other forms of neurodivergence.

How therapy can help:

Therapy can provide a safe, compassionate space to explore these questions without judgement or pressure.

Whether you are:

  • Wondering if your experiences could be linked to neurodivergence
  • Exploring whether to seek a formal assessment or diagnosis
  • Recently diagnosed and trying to make sense of what it means
  • Processing feelings of relief, grief, anger or confusion following a diagnosis
  • Learning to understand your needs, strengths and challenges
  • Working towards greater self-acceptance and self-compassion

I offer a supportive space where we can explore your experiences together at your own pace.

Many neurodivergent people have spent years masking who they are, feeling misunderstood, or believing there is something “wrong” with them. Therapy is not about changing who you are. Instead, it is about helping you better understand yourself, recognise your unique strengths, make sense of past experiences, and develop ways of living that feel more authentic and sustainable.

As an integrative counsellor, I tailor therapy to each individual rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. Together we can explore the impact neurodivergence may have had on your relationships, work, education, self-esteem, anxiety, emotional wellbeing and sense of identity. Whether you decide to pursue a formal diagnosis or not, your experiences are valid. My aim is to provide a warm, accepting space where you can feel heard, understood and supported as you develop a kinder relationship with yourself.

Together we can:

  • Explore whether neurodivergence may explain your experiences.
  • Understand masking and its emotional impact.
  • Process the emotions that can come with diagnosis.
  • Build self-acceptance and confidence.
  • Develop strategies that work with your brain rather than against it.
  • Improve communication and relationships.
  • Reduce anxiety, overwhelm and burnout.
  • Create a life that feels authentic to you.
